Are Wemoon pads as absorbent as 'disposables'?
I've used my Wemoon pads a few times, and notice they seem to absorb better now than when they were new. Is this true or am I imagining it?
I like to wear only 100% cotton panties because they allow for much better airflow than synthetics, helping keep down yeast infections. This is one of the major reasons why I don't want to use disposable pads, with their plastic layers. Will the leakproof laminate layer in Wemoons affect breathability?
I notice that some of your pads are made from certified organic cotton. What does this mean?

No! We have gone to great lengths to develop exactly the right crotch and wing width for each pad size, so that our pads actually catch all the blood. Wemoon's longer side wings also mean pads not only catch the flow better, but mould smoothly to your body curves, staying neatly in place. Bunching occurs when pads are too narrow, while pads that are too wide cause discomfort. Wemoon's double stud fastener gives you added adjustability for your different styles of underwear.

Yes, if not more so, but for hygiene's sake do remember to change them as often as you would disposables.

Yes, you're absolutely right. We strongly recommend pre-washing new Wemoon pads before first use, not only to remove manufacturing residues, but also because this really improves absorbency. Unlike a lot of other products, Wemoon pads actually improve with age! With repeated washing the fabric components become softer and even more absorbent.

I notice that some of your pads are made from certified organic cotton. What does this mean?
Although cotton is a natural fibre, many strong chemicals— including pesticides and defoliants—are used in its cultivation. We have sourced cotton that has been certified organic by SKAL international. This means that the soil in which the cotton is grown, the harvesting techniques, the post-harvest facilities used to prepare the cotton and even the processing and handling facilities that create the end-line product are completely free from chemical fertilisers and pesticides.
