I try to buy products that have environmentally friendly packaging. What is Wemoon using?
Wemoon products are packaged in cellophane. Unlike the man-made polymers in plastics, which are largely derived from petroleum, cellophane is a natural polymer made from cellulose, a component of plants and trees. Cellophane is made from trees that are farmed and harvested specifically for cellophane production, rather than from rainforest trees or threatened tree species. Cellophane is 100% biodegradable and is seen as a more environmentally friendly alternative to other types of packaging.
